land and offshore Rigs.

and we can offer you a range of designs to suite your location be it Fast
Moving Desert Rig, Standard Land Rig or Winterized Rig for extreme cold

equipment specifications into our designs whether you require a replacement
Mast or Substructure for an existing rig or are building a new rig.

RBI
offers a variety of land rig packages and options, including self-elevating
swing-up masts and substructures, vertically assembled masts, telescoping
masts, single and dual trailer rigs, and helicopter masts and
substructures. All of these structures are custom-designed in accordance
with customer specifications.
Swing-Up Masts and Substructures
The
self-elevating "Swing-Up" masts and substructures are designed to
provide a safer, durable and more stable mast and substructure. They offer
the following features:
Rig-up
at truck bed height is accomplished without the use of a crane. All RBI
components can be assembled using a gin pole truck.
Using
the drawworks power, only two lifts are required.
First the mast and setback structure are simultaneously raised to the
vertical position. Then the drawworks, rotary,
flooring, and doghouse are elevated to operating floor height.
RBI
offers a large drill floor free of A-frames. RBI masts have no A-frames or
A-frame spreaders to install, thus faster rig-up and rig-down times are
experienced.
A
reliable sheave and wireline erection system is
used.
Triangular
side frame structure allows the drilling loads and vibrations to be
transmitted directly to the bottom boxes. This results in a more stable
drill floor.
Some
land rigs require the mast to be pinned to the A-frame at a high elevation
above the drill floor creating a safety hazard when a worker has to climb
carrying drive pins and a sledgehammer. RBI masts pin at 6' above the
ground.
Desert Rigs and Rig Moving Equipment
RBI
offers a wide range of trailer desert rig designs, which are utilized to move
a mast and substructure with other associated drilling equipment. These
packages are capable of extremely fast rig moves under harsh desert
conditions. RBI offers customized rig moving equipment designed for
"new build" structures or retrofitted for existing structures.
Rig
moving equipment is highly specialized and is designed according to the
type of rig package to be moved, the environment and customer requirements.
RBI's staff of experienced engineers will take all factors into
consideration and determine the safest and most efficient rig moving system
design to meet the customer specifications.
